Overview

Demeo is a cooperative VR dungeon-crawling RPG developed by Resolution Games, a Swedish studio specialising in social VR experiences. Released in May 2021 on Quest and PC VR, it has since expanded to PSVR2, Pico, Apple Vision Pro, Samsung Galaxy XR, and flatscreen PC (Steam and Epic). Full cross-platform play connects all versions. The setting is inspired by the Stranger Things "playing in the basement" aesthetic: you and up to three friends stand around a physical-feeling dungeon table, looking down at miniature-scale heroes and monsters. Each player chooses a hero class, picks up cards with their controller, and takes turns moving, attacking, and using abilities across procedurally generated dungeon floors. The cooperative requirement is the game's social foundation: you need each other.
