Biology Dissection Lab

Xennial’s Virtual Reality (VR) Dissection Lab is designed for Middle and High School Biology programs, offering an innovative learning experience that eliminates the need for physical specimens.

The VR Dissection Lab features a variety of specimens, including a worm, clam, crayfish, fish, and frog. Guided experiences help students master incision techniques while exploring both external and internal anatomy. An interactive gallery allows students to review each specimen’s anatomy before beginning the dissection. Using virtual tools like scissors, forceps, and a scalpel, students gain hands-on experience in a fully immersive environment.

Beyond enhancing engagement, Xennial’s VR Dissection Lab overcomes logistical challenges by eliminating the need for physical resources, storage, and high costs. It extends learning beyond the classroom, providing students with unlimited access for independent practice and study.

For an even more seamless experience, the VR Dissection Lab supports full hand-tracking capabilities while also offering the option to use Meta Quest controllers. This enhanced version is available in both English and Spanish.
