Notre-Dame de Paris: Journey Back In Time

Step back in time and experience Notre-Dame de Paris as it stood two centuries ago, during the tumultuous days of the French Revolution!

Originally developed for Assassin’s Creed: Unity, this breathtaking 3D recreation of the cathedral took an astonishing 5,000 hours of meticulous graphic work, all under the guidance of expert historians. Now, Ubisoft has transformed this acclaimed model into a mesmerizing virtual tour, letting you explore Notre-Dame like never before—from the majestic nave to the soaring spire—immersed in the vibrant heartbeat of late 18th-century Paris.

All of this unfolds to the stirring melodies of a Bach fantasia, played on Notre-Dame’s legendary Cavaillé-Coll organ!

This extraordinary experience was first unveiled at UNESCO Headquarters during Heritage Days 2019 and later opened to the public in an exhibition at the Archaeological Crypt of Paris (2021-2022).
